- Tenders are invited for Supply and Installation of the Photovoltaic Energy Supply System and Installation of a Submerged Pump. Catholic Relief Services/ CRS, in consortium with NCBA CLUSA (National Cooperative Business Association/ Cooperative League of the USA), RACOJ (Network of Congolese Youth Associations), CARITAS Mbuji-Mayi, REFED (Women and Development Network) Mbuji-Mayi and Sun Mountain, implements the Budikadidi project, financed by the American government through its development agency USAID/BHA (Office of Humanitarian Affairs) within the framework of a DFSA (Development Food Security Aid). Started in December 2016 and ending in September 2023, the BUDIKADIDI project, which means "Self-care", aims to improve the nutrition, food security and economic strengthening of vulnerable households in a sustainable way, in 3 rural health zones in Kasai Oriental (Miabi, Cilundu and Kasansa). As part of its activities, the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation component of the project provides for the construction of 2 mini water supply systems to increase access to drinking water for households in these areas.
