- Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment for the Post of Consultant Specialist in Social Protection Systems under the Partnership Agreement between the Drc Social Fund and the Ministry of Social Affairs. The Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has obtained financing from the World Bank (WB) to the tune of USD 445 million to finance the "STEP 2" Project, the second additional financing to the Project for the Stabilization of the East of DRC for Peace (STEP). This social protection project aims to (i) improve access to livelihoods and socio-economic infrastructure in vulnerable communities in the country, (ii) establish fundamental elements of a social safety net system , and (iii) strengthen national refugee management systems. The STEP 2 Project has five components: three technical components, a management component, and an emergency response component. The technical components include (i) the construction and rehabilitation of community infrastructure, (ii) a large program of social safety nets, and (iii) support for the structuring of the social sector.
