- The city of Kindu does not have the sources of electrical energy in the sector which allows it to be supplied. Most organizations use the generator energy sources resulting in high cost of energy consumption, the risk of fire and the deterioration of ecology in the workplace due to the emission of CO2 emanating from the 'Use of diesels. From this fact, UNICEF seeks to provide the provincial Division of Maniema Plan with a solar electrical system with a view to strengthening the existing system whose capacity and dilapidation does not satisfy the need for the office In long -lasting quality electric energy with a reduced cost of subsequent maintenance and expenditure, this support meets UNICEF policy in innovation, technology and environmental protection and ecology. Main objective of the project is to provide a secure solar electrical system capable of feeding the office for a lifespan of more than 5 years.
